TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions for using the website www.rentautopark.md apply to orders and reservations for purchasing services offered by SVG MOBILITY SRL through the site. Rentautopark.md offers car rental services from its own fleet of over 150 new and used vehicles, covering 16 brands across all size classes.
To ensure proper use of the website, we highly recommend carefully reading the presented Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to make changes to these provisions without prior notice.
1. GENERAL RENTAL PROVISIONS AND CONDITIONS
This website is owned by SVG MOBILITY SRL. By placing an order/reservation on the online platform, the Buyer (Lessee) accepts the Terms and Conditions for the sale of goods/products and/or the provision of services, which are based on the legislation of the Republic of Moldova.
- The client renting the car must be at least 21 years old at the time of signing the rent-a-car contract (an ID card or passport must be presented), and must hold a valid driving license with at least 2 years of driving experience.
- Vehicles offered by Rentautopark.md cannot be rented by beginner drivers.
- The minimum rental period is 3 days.
- For rentals exceeding 60 days, the displayed rates are valid within a limit of 3000 km/month, calculated proportionally to the number of rented days.
- Leaving the country with vehicles rented from Rentautopark.md is permitted only with the written consent of our company.
- The responsibility for violating traffic laws lies exclusively with the driver who committed the violation (knowingly or unknowingly). The driver shall bear the cost of the fine and the corresponding penalty points.
- An administration fee of 50 EUR is charged for processing any damage and/or fines related to the rental period.
2. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
By using the website www.rentautopark.md, you automatically agree to the collection and processing of personal data necessary for processing/confirming/executing orders.
Personal data is processed only for legitimate purposes, such as providing the services you ordered, promotions, Google Analytics, cookies, and notifications/newsletters. All information containing personal data is stored and used only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with the provisions established by Law no. 133/2011 on personal data protection.
We use commercial security measures to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information on the site. However, data transmission over the internet or wireless networks cannot be fully protected; therefore, the Buyer provides this information at their own risk.
3. ORDER REGISTRATION, PAYMENT, AND ADDITIONAL COSTS
Payment Methods: Payment for the rental is to be made in cash or to the bank account indicated by the Lessor. In the case of concluding the contract remotely (electronically or by phone), the payment for the rent is to be made via bank account, bank card, PayPal, or other electronic payment method indicated by the Lessor within 24 hours from the date the Lessee confirmed the reservation.
Online Payment Security: Online payment is made under maximum security conditions using a bank card as a payment instrument. The payment processor uses a secure system based on the latest version of the 3D-Secure standard. This security measure involves redirecting the user at the time of payment to a secure maib page, where the authentication of each cardholder is done by assigning a unique one-time code for each online transaction.
Refunds are made only to the payment card that was used for the purchase.
To make a payment, you will need to enter your bank card details. The transfer of this information is done in accordance with all necessary security measures. The information is transmitted in encrypted form and stored only on a specialized server of the payment system. The following data will be requested: Card number (16 digits), Expiration date (month and year), CVC or CVV code (3 digits), and Name/Surname on the payment card.
Additional Costs at Drop-off:
- Fuel: The Lessee must return the vehicle with the exact amount of fuel it had at the time of pick-up. If the fuel level is lower, the Lessee will pay the cost of the missing fuel at the average price calculated from five national gas station networks on the drop-off day.
- Cleaning: If the vehicle is returned uncleaned (interior and exterior), the Lessee will pay a fee of 500 MDL to cover cleaning expenses and personnel compensation.
- Odors / Chemical Cleaning: If the interior of the car smells bad (e.g., tobacco or other unpleasant odors) or has stains that cannot be removed by regular washing, the Lessee will pay an additional cost of 2,500 MDL for interior refreshing and chemical cleaning (as payment for additional wear).
- Scratches / Polishing: If the exterior of the car has scratches or damages that did not exist at the time of pick-up and can be removed by polishing, the Lessee will pay an additional polishing cost of 3,000 MDL (as payment for additional wear).
4. VEHICLE PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF
After registering the order, the buyer receives information regarding the confirmation of the car reservation. Pick-up and drop-off are carried out at the locations and time intervals agreed upon at the time of booking.
Upon receiving the vehicle, please check its technical and visual condition in the presence of the company representative and sign the handover protocol. Any subsequent claims regarding the initial condition of the vehicle that were not recorded in the protocol will not be accepted.
5. RESERVATION CANCELLATION AND RETURN POLICY
To confirm a reservation, an advance payment of 50 EUR may be requested, which will be deducted from the total rental value. Note: In the event of a reservation cancellation or a no-show at the time of pick-up, the advance payment will not be refunded.
In accordance with Law no. 105-XV of March 13, 2013, regarding consumer protection, if a cancellation qualifies for a refund (excluding the non-refundable advance fee), the funds will be returned strictly to the bank card used for the original purchase. The processing time for a return request is up to 14 days.
6. PRIVACY POLICY
In accordance with the provisions of Law No. 133/2011 on personal data protection, the service provider processes personal data in good faith and according to legal provisions. The provider collects and processes only the personal data provided by consumers when placing a reservation: name, surname, phone number, email address, ID details, and driving license details required for the rental contract.
Any information provided by users of the website will be considered and will represent express consent for personal data to be used by the Provider for administrative and service execution purposes. The Provider will not disclose any held data to a third party without the consent of the data subjects, except as provided by current legislation (at the request of state public institutions or law enforcement agencies).
The provider does not collect or store financial transaction information, such as card numbers, expiration dates, or CVV codes.
